There are an abundance of activities available in the Summer, even more so than the winter.
These range from white water rafting on the River Isere, meadow picnics, horse riding treks to the farming hamlet of Le Monal, spectacular drives over to Italy for lunch, day trips to the beautiful lakeside town of Annecy, mountain biking on some of the best single track in the valley, lazy lunches poolside at local restaurants, via ferrata, paragliding, glacier skiing on the Grand Motte at Tignes, and much, much more.
Come the summer, the whole mountain opens up with alpine walking routes. These vary from gentle ambles to the farming hamlet of Le Monal to far more demanding expeditions to some of our neighbouring summits, at more than 3500m.
Many of the routes are well marked and tell you how long they should take you so you will never get caught out. Alternatively if you would like to be guided then we have some great recommendations. Guides can take you on anything from gentle foraging walks to scaling glacier-covered peaks. They will teach you lots about the mountains along the way whichever option you go with.
In terms of foraging there is lots to be found throughout the Summer months including wild raspberries and strawberries, spinach, rhubarb, herbs and plants with medicinal properties.
There are endless routes to be found in the valley and we can help advise as to which ones would be suitable based on your abilities.
If there is a specific activity you are interested in please do contact us for prices.
