Well it’s been a snowy year so far here in Sainte Foy. We’ve seen a couple of huge storms dump biblical amounts of snow in the valley, and there’s yet more falling right now! With the current storm set to continue until at least the weekend, who knows how much we’ll have by next week! Snow depths were only recorded for the Tarentaise valley from 1981 onwards, but we’ve already surpassed the deepest of those recordings for January, and there’s been much talk of the ’30 year storm’ that hit us just over a week ago, dumping up to 2 metres of snow at altitude in a little over 48 hours. The worries of last winter’s snowpack being enough to see out the season are now a distant memory, as we’ve already got more than enough.
We’re are very close to being fully-booked for the rest of the season, but we do have a couple of self-catered gaps to fill, with Apartment Chenalet having the week commencing 18th March available for a mere £675, so as little as £135 per person for a week. We also have Apartment Isere available for the week commencing 3rd March for £1,495, potentially a snip at £187 each. A few catered weeks are still available with the weeks commencing 17th, 24th February, and 3rd March starting at £545 per person.
You’d be silly to miss out on visiting us this season, it’s looking ridiculous up on that mountain!
All the best,
Marcus and Charlotte
