Sainte Foy is rightly proud of its off-piste potential and has four designated off-piste ‘safe areas’ within its boundaries as well as fresh opportunities at every turn.
Aside from these are perfect tree-runs that define the ski area on a powder day. Within a day of skiing here, you’ll find favourite routes between the pistes or under the lifts, whereas a guide can open up whole different areas to the more adventurous. Varying from the steep and exhilarating north face of the Fogliettaz as well as various jaw-dropping couloirs to the more mellow Col Granier, you’ll find yourself in areas miles from the crowds.
Whether it’s taking your first turns in powder or perfecting your cliff drops, Sainte Foy will leave you wanting more. Due to the mountain’s lack of crowds and south-west aspect, the snow stays fluffy and untracked for days after a snowfall, a far cry from the mogul fields of our neighbouring resorts!
